Arlene and Margaret make way for the next generation
One of Aberdeen’s longest established and best regarded interior design businesses is looking for a new owner to take it into the 2020s and beyond.
Creative Interiors’ owner Arlene Ogston has built up the company’s client list and prestige in the twelve years since she bought the company from the original owner.
Now Arlene and her colleague Margaret have decided it’s time to retire and pass the business on to a new owner. Arlene explained, ‘Creative Interiors is a great lifestyle home business opportunity for someone with design qualifications and interiors experience, or perhaps someone looking for a career change – someone who is passionate about design, business-savvy and gives clients confidence in their abilities. ‘I’m happy to provide the new owner with a long handover and plenty of support.’

Arlene added, ‘I’ll miss working with all our clients, tradespeople and suppliers. Many have become friends over the years. I’ll miss the thrill of seeing a job completed and transforming a tired home into a stunning new area for the owners to enjoy. I’m looking forward to simply relaxing and spending more time travelling with my husband’.
