BMI Albyn Hospital have celebrated another successful year with their first charity ball. The evening was attended by the Chief Executive, Karen Prins, consultants, staff and friends of the hospital who joined together to celebrate the hospital’s achievements.

The hospital was recently awarded excellent grades by Healthcare Improvement Scotland during an unannounced inspection earlier this year.

The ball celebrated the hospital’s success and also chose to support Charlie House as BMI Healthcare recognises the importance of community engagement through fundraising events.

Executive Director, Stuart Storrie, commented, ‘Everyone at BMI appreciates the importance of working alongside those in our local community, including our colleagues in the NHS, local businesses and services. We are thrilled to support Charlie House. They do incredibly valuable work locally and throughout the North-east of Scotland.’

Over £4,000 was raised on the evening of the ball. Charlie House provides support services for babies, children and young people with complex disabilities and life-limiting conditions in the North-east of Scotland, and their families.
