We work with both corporate and private clients, so there’s always something new on the go. It might be a romantic engagement party, a wedding reception venue, a special anniversary, birthday or retirement do, or a corporate milestone celebration,’ Adesso’s owner, Charlotte Garvie, explained.
‘Whether it’s a huge event, or a small private party, every client benefits from the same attention to detail. We strive for perfection!
‘Every client is different, each has a different reason for celebrating and a different vision of what they want their event to look like. It’s our job to make the venue magical. Some people like to start with a colour scheme, while others may have seen our work at a previous event, or have a theme in mind, such as a Victorian Christmas, or an Alice in Wonderland themed wedding. Some clients may even have assembled a mood board, while others may have a clearer idea on what they don’t want. We love working closely with our clients to help realise their dream look for a venue.
‘At Adesso, we consider a lot of different factors when it comes to putting our initial design ideas together. The venue space, the flow of guests, backdrops and focal points, areas for photography and practical aspects like the event décor needing to work with what’s happening during the event, like dancing or having a sit down-meal. The entrance is also really important as we want guests to feel like they are stepping into a different world.
‘For example, these images come from an event we did with Trend last November. Our brief was to create a stunning entrance way and a wall where guests at the Bubbles and Baubles Charity Lunch could have photos taken. The festive décor created an uplifting, festive ambience, with a sophisticated edge and lifted the mood of guest going into the event.
‘People often think that using an event decorator like Adesso must be very expensive. That’s not necessarily the case.
