Killer Heels & Cocktails

Aberdeen’s most sought after ticket to the city’s highly anticipated exclusive ladies event returns for 2023, bigger and better than ever!

Killer Heels and Cocktails, known best for its fabulous entertainment, flowing cocktails and amazing auction prizes returns to the city raising funds for Action Medical Research for Children, a charity that has a mission to save and change children’s lives through medical research, developing treatments, vaccinations and cures.

Every penny raised on the day goes towards the charity which last year raised an outstanding £55,000 and since its launch it has raised over £1million helping towards funding vital research into life threatening conditions that save the lives of children and babies.

This year’s glamourous event will be held at The Marcliffe Hotel & Spa on Friday 9th June. Guests will dance the afternoon away to Madhen Party Band, who are a loyal supporter of the event and everyone will be guaranteed a few entertaining surprises too as well as an exclusive afterparty.

Committee chair for the event, Jan Whiteford, commented, ‘The Killer Heels event is one of a kind in Aberdeen. I have attended and been involved with the event for several years and the charity is one that is close to my heart. We have a fantastic committee on board this year and guests are always guaranteed an eventful and jam-packed afternoon. The event is full on glam and one not to be missed and we cannot wait to welcome guests to a new venue for 2023.’

Action Medical Research for Children, Fundraising Manager for Scotland, Linda Marley commented, ‘We have the Killer Heels event running in Aberdeen and Glasgow and the support we have received over the years is unrivalled. Last year the charity celebrated 70 years of saving lives through medical research and in 2022 we funded 13 new medical research projects all helping sick children and babies. The support we receive from our Aberdeen committee and supporters really goes a long way and we are extremely thankful. I cannot wait to see what this year’s event brings.’
