Nominations for the 2018 Offshore Achievement Awards (OAA) are set to open on 2 October, following the launch at this year’s Offshore Europe in September.

Now in its 32nd year, the prestigious awards, organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Aberdeen and sponsored by TAQA, encompass technology and safety innovation, exceptional individual performance and company success in the oil and gas and renewables sectors.

SPE Aberdeen and OAA Chairman, Ian Phillips, said,  ‘Celebrating success, innovative thinking and fantastic accomplishments in what continues to be a challenging climate is more important than ever. We’re looking forward to sharing the stories of the inspirational work that continues to happen in our industry.

‘The awards highlight excellence and serve as a prestigious platform for those operating in the oil and gas and renewables sectors. I would urge both individuals and companies to start thinking about their award entries, and allow us to shine a spotlight on their success.’

The awards are open for entries until 1 December and the black-tie ceremony will take place at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre on 22 March 2018. For further information and entry criteria, please visit spe-oaa.org
