We’ve teamed up with Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky to give away a pair of tickets for their amazing event at this year’s 25th anniversary of the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. Six runners up can console themselves with a bottle of Black Bull Kyloe too!
Drams in the Dark is a chance to experience the ultimate whisky-tasting. Our winner and their guest will arrive at Duncan Taylor’s new Club Room in Huntly at 6.30pm on the 1st of May for a welcome whisky cocktail. They’ll each be given a blindfold before heading through to the adjoining Bank Restaurant, where the tasting experience will take place.
A special 3-course whisky paired meal has been created by The Bank’s Head Chef, Peter Carey. Participants will don their blindfolds before and after each course to sample four stunning whiskies from the Duncan Taylor Scotch Whisky portfolio including their renowned Single Cask and Octave ranges. Tasting whisky blindfolded means your other senses, particularly taste and smell, are heightened, resulting in a unique and unforgettable experience.
Each of the four blind-tasted whiskies will be served with a unique canapé that enhances the flavours within the whisky.
To end the evening, you will be welcomed back to the Club Room where you can imbibe your whisky of choice from Duncan Taylor’s unique and innovative cask dispensers.
Six runners up will each win a bottle of Duncan Taylor’s Black Bull Kyloe whisky worth £30 each.
