You don’t need tweeds to shoot!
Have you ever fancied learning to shoot, but feel like you don’t have the gear? Thistle Ladies Shooting Club is based at Aberdeen Shooting School and provides calm and relaxed tuition to ladies from complete beginner to competition level. Current club members include an artist, a scientist, a retiree and a trainee gamekeeper, as well as mothers and daughters shooting alongside each other.
Professional instructors gear the tuition to your level, and the equipment is designed to be easy to use, safe and comfortable. There is no dress code and all equipment is supplied, unless you have your own of course. The club meets on the last Sunday of every month, and there is also a Ladies Day on Sunday 16 June.
Prize: A free shooting lesson and morning coffee for two ladies with the Thistle Ladies and their coaches to be taken on any one of their Sunday shoots in 2019. Prize includes tuition, gun hire, safe gear, cartridges, clays and morning coffee. See www.the-thistle-ladies-shooting-club.com for shoot dates [both ladies must shoot on the same date].
