Win a bottle of rather marvellous Crabbie’s Scottish Rugby Gin

Feeling fruity? Then how about getting spring off to a great start by winning one of six bottles of Crabbie’s Scottish Rugby Gin?

Crabbie’s has been around since 1801, making them one of the oldest names in Scottish distilling. John Crabbie was a true pioneer, producing gin liqueurs and his famous Crabbie’s Green Ginger Wine. They were also one of the first ever independent bottlers of whisky. Since then, they’ve added beers and an alcoholic ginger beer to their line-up, but it’s their newest creations that have us excited.

To celebrate their sponsorship of Edinburgh and Scottish Rugby, Crabbie’s recently launched their Scottish Rugby Gins, named after two former Scottish Rugby Internationalists, who happened to be John Crabbie’s grandsons!

Jack Crabbie Scottish Raspberry and Ginger Gin is a beguiling mix of juniper, ginger, angelica, coriander, Scottish raspberry, orange peel, lemon peel, cassia bark, orris root, liquorice root, and grains of paradise.  The base recipe was discovered wedged between the sealed pages of founder, John Crabbie’s 1837 recipe book.

Try it with a light tonic or soda and a garnish of raspberries and lemon peel or raspberries and a thyme sprig for a sweet yet refreshing taste, that’s perfect for warm evenings in the garden.

George Crabbie Gin is a citrusy delight packed with a skillfully balanced mix of juniper, coriander, angelica, orange peel, lemon peel, orris root, black pepper, rosemary, bay leaves, parsley and salt. It’s perfect with elderflower tonic and a garnish of zingy grapefruit.

We have three bottles of each to give away.
