Sarah Jane celebrates 25 years of style at Salon 70

There can’t be many people who’ve spent their entire working life in one business, but Salon 70 owner Sarah Jane Ironside has done just that! Sarah Jane started as an apprentice, working with her mentor and inspiration Dick Taylor. 

Sarah Jane bought Salon 70 from Dick five years ago and has successfully steered the business through the pandemic and beyond. Sarah Jane explained, ‘Dick taught me everything and now I’m passing that on to our team of Daryn Bridgeford, Chelsea Georgia and Amy Watson, as well as our newer and part time staff. 

‘Even after 25 years, Salon 70 has never felt like work to me. Our clients feel more like friends and we have a great reputation for flattering cuts, colour work and bridal styling.’
