Husband holds charity fundraiser in wife’s honour

Carole Macpherson was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer (SBC) of the liver in 2019, tragically passing away in July 2020. Grieving the loss, Carole’s husband, Scott, saw an opportunity to raise funds for SBC charities, METUPUK and Make2ndsCount, who work to increase the quality of life for patients.

With years of experience in creative communications, Aberdeen’s leading marketing, PR and design agency, think, is supporting the project with strategic promotional activities and signature brand design.

Scott commented, ‘I am blown away by the support from the team at think and I can’t thank them enough for offering their services and support to help organise the fundraiser’

The Carole Macpherson Memorial Fundraiser will be held at Meldrum House in Aberdeen on May 19, 2022. The event kicks off at 12pm with a 9-hole round of golf, followed by a black-tie dinner and auction with charity Auctioneer, Alex Fleming as the evening’s keynote speaker.
