“The three main factors I cover when teaching makeup lessons are correct technique, placement and the right products,” explained Julia. “All three must come together to create a successful outcome. Watching generic tutorials online can sometimes be counter-productive if the person has completely different features or colourings to you, which is why a personalised one to one lesson delivered by an experienced artist ensures the best results.”
