The oils released help stimulate blood circulation, hydrate and moisturise the skin and sooth aches and pains, so it’s no wonder seaweed has been used in top spas for decades. £16 from www.voya.ie

Apply a moisturing body lotion, then finish off with a gel manicure and pedicure when you’re dry. A kit from Gelish gives a salon finish to your nails, but is easy enough to use at home. The polish lasts for up to three weeks, and can be soaked off when you’re ready for a change. Now that you’re glowing and revitalised, all you have to do is find someone to clean the bathroom!
