Aberdeen’s Malmaison Hotel has just gained an Eat Safe Award. The accolade is awarded to selected food businesses who demonstrate food hygiene and food safety management standards beyond those required by law.

Head Chef John Burns explained, ‘The Eat Safe award is given to businesses who represent outstanding commitment to food hygiene & safety regulations. It is organised by Aberdeen city council in partnership with the Food Standards Agency in Scotland.

‘We have 15 chefs, an apprentice and six kitchen porters in the restaurant, giving us one of the biggest kitchen brigades in the city. The award is a credit to all their hard work.
