Have you ever rooted about in your garden to improve your gin and tonic? Do you know which whisky to serve with a canapé?  Would you consider science as the key to crafting the perfect cocktail?

Drink! Aberdeen is the exciting new food and drink festival from events and hospitality company, 10 Dollar Shake.
Taking place across a number of venues, distilleries and breweries in Aberdeen City and Shire, it aims celebrate the culture and heritage of the drinks industry with a number of dinners, seminars and tours whilst educating on the art of making and enjoying good food and beverages.

The guest stars include Dr Rachel Edwards Stuart, food science advisor to Heston Blumenthal and Herve This, who is hosting a science of flavour seminar.  Wild food consultant and forager at Galloway Wild Foods, Mark Williams will lead a wild booze walk and whisky columnist and founder of World Whisky Day, Blair Bowman, will host a whisky pairing dinner.

Tours of Six Degree North’s new Laurencekirk Brewery and the Glen Garioch whisky distillery in Inverurie are also included in the schedule.
