Café Boheme: New tasting menu

Café Boheme, Aberdeen’s elegant French-inspired restaurant on Windmill Brae, is welcoming the decade by introducing an exciting new Tasting Menu.

Being launched as part of Aberdeen Restaurant Week on Monday 24 February, the offering will include a five-course meal, with each course being paired to an expertly
selected wine.

Drawing on the decades of experience of owner Paul Mair, manager Sylwia Kozowicz, head chef Andrew Gray and sommelier Vladimir Gasnarek (Gus), the tasting menu aims to impart their combined knowledge of fine food and drink to diners in a relaxed, unrushed environment. From Johnshaven Lobster Bisque to Wine Glazed Ox Cheek, the tasting menu is a fusion of freshly-sourced Scots produce with classic French cooking techniques.

Throughout Restaurant Week, the tasting menu will be offered at the discounted price of £60 per person and will be available Monday to Friday with a start time of 7.45pm. Subsequently, it will be offered by pre-booking at the regular price of £80 per person.

Café Boheme also has plans to host themed wine tasting events on the first Monday of each month. Featuring a three-course meal and a sommelier-led introduction to specialist wines, these evenings make an enticing addition to their regular calendar of events.
