Eat on the Green’s Craig Wilson’s on a roll

The whole country’s obsessed with baking, thanks to the Great British Bake Off. There’s nothing better than the smell of freshly baked bread in the morning. It’s the ultimate comfort food and great with home-made soup. You don’t need to be a Star Baker to make fabulous bread. I like to use seasonal ingredients to make our bread rolls even tastier. Just add any of these into your bread mixture and you’re sure to get bread rolls that even Paul and Pru would be proud of!

My top picks for the winter months are: Stornoway black pudding, a strong cheddar, apple and honey or cinnamon and raisins added to a wholemeal bread. Yum!
