Orchid celebrated its 10th birthday on November 1st by hosting a private party for the people who have helped cement the cocktail bar into not only one of Aberdeen’s top venues but Scotland too.

At the start of the birthday week, they released a throwback cocktail menu with 6 iconic cocktails from over the 10 years where £1 of every one sold went to SAMH charity. On the night the venue along with the guests managed to raise over £1,000 pounds for the charity.

The Campfire Classic

Ingredients
50ml Flor de Cana 7yr
7.5ml Lustau Pedro Ximenez Sherry
15ml Toasted Marshmallow syrup
2 dash Boker’s Bitters

The Campfire Classic is a twist on a classic Old Fashioned. The added sweetness of the toasted marshmallow syrup and PX sherry helps make the drink much more accessible, and reminds us of huddling around a fire on a cold winter’s night.
