Prairie girl

Right now, fashion’s in a relaxed, romantic mood, referencing rural bliss and bygone days. Look for peasant tiered longer length skirts, ditsy prints in cotton or linen, with pastel shades to the forefront. The season’s silhouettes are forgiving and generous. Look for square necklines and puffy sleeves or go with a high frilled Victorian neckline.  Think pioneer woman, wandering through cornfields, Little House on the Prairie, 1970’s Laura Ashley Victoriana and a little bit of Daisy Duke’s attitude and you won’t go far wrong…
