Fitness isn’t just for the young. In fact, now that we live longer, it’s even more important to keep active and healthy. Increasingly we suffer ill-health from diseases and ailments which are underpinned by lifestyle factors such as obesity, nutrition and exercise, yet many of these can be improved with regular attendance at the gym or classes at David Lloyd Club in Aberdeen.
You can work with a personal trainer who understands that you might not be as flexible as you once were and who helps you to reach your fitness goals, whether that’s dropping a few pounds, improving your cardiovascular health, improving suppleness through yoga or Pilates classes, building muscle strength in the gym, enjoying a few laps in the pool or improving your tennis game.
We’re so committed to helping people age more healthily that we’ve even made a commitment to employ at least one fitness trainer in each club who is over 55 themselves. One of our oldest personal trainers is 73!
The whole ethos of David Lloyd Clubs is to be welcoming to all ages. It’s a place where the whole family is welcome to get fitter together and to enjoy the social aspect of the club too, making it a great place to meet new friends as you improve your overall health and wellbeing.
