TAC welcome Dr Premila Ashok to their clinical team at their Clinic facility in Cults.
Dr Ashok an experienced gynaecology consultant with substantial experience in the specialty will lead our Ambulatory care and gynaecology service.
Gynaecology is the medical speciality that focuses on women’s reproductive health. We provide services for a wide range of conditions that can affect the female reproductive system, from urinary tract infections to ovarian cancer. Our consultant gynaecologists and physicians are here to advise you on any aspect of your reproductive health, including fertility problems, contraception, abnormal smear tests and difficulties associated with the menopause.
What specifically is the ambulatory gynaecology clinic?
The ambulatory gynaecology clinic is a service which provides simple, minor procedures without the need for a general anaesthetic or admission to hospital. The procedures currently offered in the ambulatory service include hysteroscopy and removal of endometrial polyps or fibroids from the lining of the womb, procedures for fertility , insertion & removal of coil, abnormal vaginal bleeding, post – menopausal bleeding and colposcopy.
The aim of ambulatory gynaecology is to admit, treat and discharge the patient on the same day in an outpatient setting. Traditional inpatient operations are being rapidly replaced by office, outpatient or day surgery procedures.
We can often arrange same or next-day appointments — meaning you’ll be seen by our consultants at a time that’s convenient for you and you will be sure to receive treatment that adheres to our BEST practice promise:

As the situation with COVID-19 continues to change and develop, so too will the processes and measures we have in place, so that we are always providing the fullest access to high quality care in the safest possible way.
