Aberdeen restaurant week returns this July and is set to be the biggest and best ever. It’s a chance to revisit familiar foodie favourites and discover new tastes and new places, all at a bargain price. This summer’s Aberdeen Restaurant Week, which is organised by Aberdeen Inspired, will burst into life in the city centre from July 15 to 21 July with a wide range of local restaurants taking part. Whether you’re looking for a high-end tasting menu, a chance to sample an adventurous new cuisine, or just a feast for the family, there’s something to suit.
‘More than forty local businesses took part in the February event, reporting a large uplift in customer levels, so the initiative is great for diners and the local economy’, Nicola Johnston, evening and night-time economy manager of Aberdeen Inspired, explained. ‘We were pleased with the response to the last Aberdeen Restaurant Week, which was really embraced by both businesses and the public alike.
‘Our aim with the event is to encourage everyone to enjoy everything our city centre has to offer. It is all about trying new restaurants, sampling different food and enjoying the vibrant nightlife we are proud to promote in the Granite City.
‘Previous Aberdeen Restaurant Weeks have been really positive and have had a noticeable impact on customer levels. We’re all looking forward to more of the same when it returns in July.’
Look out for tasting menus, drink pairing menus and afternoon teas along with the traditional pricing structure of a two-course lunch priced at £10 per person and three-course dinner for £20 per person. Book early to avoid disappointment.
