As they say at Blush Bridal, it’s all about The Dress and, just like the groom, it’s got to be The One.

They also know it’s about keeping it secret until the big day – the moment the guests and husband-to-be get the first glimpse the bride floating down the aisle in her perfect gown.

So when Diane Stephen was planning Blush Bridal she wanted to ensure her brides would enjoy complete privacy in an exclusive bridal suite, away from the eyes of other clients.

‘The dress carries a responsibility all of its own, infusing a bride with confidence, complementing their style and expressing their personality. It has to do a job that no dress has ever done before or ever will again,’ says Diane.

‘That’s why we’ve created the private suite where the bride and her entourage can have total privacy to choose that beautiful dress in beautiful, luxurious surroundings.’

They include sparkling chandeliers and sumptuous sable crushed velvet drapes – a subtle backdrop to a glorious range of gowns and accessories.

Blush Bridal stocks everything from boho chic to Hollywood glamour, classic ballgown and slinky mermaid styles.  There’s also the ladylike allure of a Downton Abbeyesque beaded dress and headpieces of crystal and lace plus 150 different evening and prom dresses from Mori Lee’s  Paparazzi and Alexia’s Blush Prom ranges – perfect for the party season.

Central to all the designs are quality and finish. The new Fraserburgh boutique has bridal gowns by Enzoani (including Enzoani Blue), Ronald Joyce, Victoria Jane and Mori Lee’s three ranges, Madeline Gardner, Blu and Voyage.

Bridesmaids’ dresses include Dessy, Enzoani Love and twist wrap styles while flower girls become little princesses in Tara Lee designs.

‘It’s not really a job,’ says Diane, ‘It’s a privilege. Every bride is beginning a new adventure and we’re there at the start of  the journey.’
