Thanks to the new jewellery rental service from Just Gems in Cults, brides can now look a million dollars without spending it!
Owner Helen Plumb, the internationally renowned gemologist and designer, explains, ‘Often brides don’t have the budget to buy real jewellery, but can’t find perfect costume pieces. We own all our own stock so we can offer a great selection of magnificent jewellery for hire, from classic diamond necklaces and earrings, to stunning opals, pearls and striking coloured stones. Designs range from the romantic Belle Époque era to exquisitely simple and modern pieces, so there’s something to suit every bride.
The rental fee is just 15% of the retail price of the jewellery, and hires are for a week. There’s also a 20% refundable deposit. Think of it as a ‘something borrowed’ that’ll never make you blue.
In time, Helen plans to extend the rental service to black tie events, as well as working with brides to create bespoke pieces for hire. If you want to keep your jewellery, Just Gems will discount the price by the rental fee, making it a perfect anniversary gift, or heirloom.
