It’s Spring! It’s the season of renewal, regeneration and new beginnings, so it’s time for us all to cast off the gloom of winter and look forward to lighter nights, longer days, warmer temperatures (Ooooh, double figures!) and all that’s new and fresh.

Traditional wisdom advises us to ‘Ne’er cast a clout till May be oot!’, but our advice is to embrace the new season with gusto.  Pack your anorak away, chuck your winter boots under the bed and let your hair down. Reinvent yourself, wear a colour you’ve never worn before, smile at strangers, have a day out, take the weekend off and live a more interesting life. When you’re 104 and looking back over your achievements, having spent your weekends catching up on the chores shouldn’t feature in the highlights. There are very few statues erected to those who always got the ironing done! Blow off the cobwebs and explore the possibilities the new season offers.

Naturally, we’re here to help; you’ll find everything from fabulous fashion finds to days out with the kids, great places to eat or grab a weekend away, art, music, places to visit and new things to experience. Everything’s there, it just needs you!
