To us, it’s all about curling up in an oversized chair by a real fire, spiced fruit aromas, with a mug of marshmallowy hot chocolate, a good book and the dog at your feet. For maximum cosiness, look for throws, cushions and rugs in rich jewel or earthy tones, natural fabrics and luxurious velvets. Go with silk tassels, fringing and pompoms. Envelope yourself in comfort. Build a blanket fort and dig out some old favourites on vinyl. Indulge in the simplest of pleasures. Get it right and you might not want to go outside till spring…
