A luxury skin and wellbeing clinic – offering the latest in specialist treatments which use advanced, state-of-the-art technology – has opened its doors in Aberdeen city centre.
Based at 9 Carden Place, Grand Aura is led by medical director Dr Sanjay Rajpara, a world-renowned dermatologist, and managing director Karen Arthur, who has a background in specialist skincare.
A three-storey, 2,000 sq ft city centre office premises has been converted following a change of use application, boasting eight customer parking spaces including disabled parking and access.
Grand Aura is a doctor-led professional dermatology clinic with experienced practising staff. It provides individual bespoke skin and beauty treatments to clients in quality, comfortable West End surroundings.
The business has created an initial five new jobs and appointed several specialists who are highly experienced in the dermatology and aesthetics field.
Grand Aura, which is open Monday to Saturday every week, provides an extensive range of dermatology treatments and services under one roof including anti-ageing injectables, laser hair removal, skin peels and medical facials.
The clinic’s managing director, Karen Arthur, is the former chief executive of Aberdeen-based charity Inspire PTL. She commented, ‘It is an exciting time to launch the clinic and there is definitely a gap in the current market for a smaller, more personal skincare and wellbeing clinic, backed up by years of medical expertise, and providing a more intimate service than is on offer at the larger chains.”
Dr Sanjay Rajpara, medical director at Grand Aura, added, ‘We are thrilled to be opening Grand Aura in Aberdeen, which will offer a bespoke experience to our clients that effectively meets their requirements.
‘We pride ourselves on offering a personal, one-to-one service for individuals visiting the clinic; offering skincare and treatment plans specifically tailored for each person so they can benefit from the best possible results.’
