Sometimes we just need some company or a helping hand.

But we also want to maintain a fulfilling and independent lifestyle. We might need a hand changing a lightbulb, flipping a mattress, walking the dog or need a ride to the supermarket or the cinema, but don’t need or want to leave our own homes or surrender our personal freedom. It’s about living our lives the way we want.

Perhaps we have parents who need a little extra care and support, perhaps helping to tame the garden, passing a few hours in company each day, undertaking chores or personal care. This is where caring and friendly Crandeen Companions fit in.

Crandeen believes that people should be able to live a care-free lifestyle no matter what their circumstances may be, while keeping control and maintaining independence for as long as possible.

Crandeen’s customers can access companionship with or without additional lifestyle services such as shopping, running errands, or doing odd jobs around the house. If more support is needed, then Crandeen also offer high level personal care including dressing, bathing, settling, and meal preparation or administering medication.

The company is based in Aberdeen and is available to customers in the North-east. It’s a bespoke, choice-based service which is flexible enough to evolve as needs change. Some of Crandeen’s customers have Health & Social Care Partnership personal budgets to provide choice in the services they receive.

Unlike some care services, there’s no sense of rush, the time taken is not restricted and companions develop an ongoing relationship with their customers.

It’s this flexibility, first class staff and Crandeen’s focus on companionship and great personal service that makes them a stand-out choice when you, or your loved ones, need a helping hand.
