Meet the Malmaison’s kitchen wizard
I was born and raised in Poland, but came to the UK over 15 years ago, when I decided to pursue a new challenge. I started at the bottom, learning the very basics in the kitchen, and worked my way up! I have a wonderful wife and son, and a new puppy called Luna.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing my guitar, and fishing. For adrenaline, there’s nothing better than a good day out paintballing!
Like many chefs, I learned my trade in a variety of different kitchens. At the Mal, I experience something new each day. The very best thing, without a doubt, has to be the team. They are great to work with and even after a busy day they’re always lively and cheery.
Being a chef my ultimate passion is food. If I was limited to three foods for the rest of my life, I’d struggle. I would definitely choose scallops as I love the texture and flavour, pork belly because it melts in your mouth, and sticky toffee pudding… for obvious reasons.
If I could cook for anyone at all, it’d be Gordon Ramsey who is my role model and Flash Gordon as he is my super hero!
