Before taking over Fairytale Events, our director, Jill Butler was an environmental engineer so as a business, we are very aware of the sustainability issues around weddings and events. We donate our used linens to a local charity so that they can earn money from rags reuse- everyone is a winner! We know that Eco-Weddings are big news for 2019 but how can you make sure you are minimising your environmental impact and still have a great day?

Go plastic free!

Shop local and in season

Food and flowers from far flung places have a significant impact on the carbon footprint of your big day. Embrace local seasonal produce and speak to us about locally grown organic flowers. Nature always has a solution!

Go Digital!

Reduce or remove all paper from your save the date, wedding invites and thank you cards by going digital. It can all be done at the touch of a button and will save you pounds!

Go Circular

The Circular Economy aims to keep products and materials in use for as long as possible to get maximum value from them. By hiring décor items and props rather than buying, you are saving resources and the energy needed in production.
