The start of the year can be gloomy for many, but for Finnies it’s a real highlight as we headed to Italy to bring back the latest jewellery designs for our discerning customers in Aberdeen and further afield.
This year we are excited about diamonds – when are we not! Yellow gold and torque jewellery pieces which don’t join together, but instead wrap round the finger, wrist or neck.
Diamonds definitely speak louder than words and this year it felt as if they were enticing us to look at them again. They are getting bigger, sparklier and bolder and are unquestionably for women who aren’t afraid to stand out. One of the pieces we currently have in our shop, which we really love, is this rather dazzling yellow diamond.
Warm, enduring and classic yellow gold is also making a welcome come back. Yellow gold chunky chains, bracelets, bangles and earrings were a big hit at the fair. One Italian designer whose designs we loved is Elaine Firenze and we are thrilled to feature her ‘Ciao Bella’ collection in our George Street shop.
