It’s difficult to believe that Trend has become such an essential and well-loved part of so many people’s lives. At first, we were told that there was nothing to do in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, but nine years later, we’re still exploring and delighting in sharing our new discoveries and old favourites. The joys of this time of year are often overlooked as summer fades away and we start to plan ahead for Christmas. Traditionally, the pace slows after the harvest season, making it a time of year to relax, spend time with friends and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. It might be wrapping up in cosy layers and taking a walk in the country, perhaps gathering brambles for a crumble, or the almost primitive joy of eating an apple from your own tree. It might be taking a break from the office and strolling through the park, delighting in scuffing childishly through russet drifts of fallen leaves, or simply meeting friends for a catch up over coffee and cake.
As ever, it’s not just about living, it’s about living with style!
