In the hands of an experienced wedding and events company, a theme can create that extra bit of magic on the big day. Today, themes are not just for children’s parties! This year at Fairytale we are working on several themed weddings and events. No fancy dress, no over-the-top props, just flowers, linen, colour pops and motifs to hint at your favourite location, film or character. We used silver sequin cloths to represent fish scales and shades of shimmering turquoise and blue linen for an under-the-sea themed dinner.
A low-key wedding at a harbour location used shades of blue in flowers, bespoke menus, quirky favours and a menu including fish, chips and ice cream to recreate childhood memories of the seaside. Steampunk is big news in 2017 – and we brought that vision to life at a prestigious dinner dance with Victoriana table centrepieces and careful use of heritage colours. So, with a little help from experts, it’s time to let your imagination run wild and create an event to remember.
