As the summer wedding season comes to an end, we are looking forward to the next holiday celebration, Halloween. But did you know that weddings and Halloween are closely linked?

Some traditional customs we follow on All Hallows Eve are thought to predict the identity of a future spouse! If you didn’t use your apples for dooking, peel the skin in one long strip and throw it over your shoulder. The peel is believed to land in the shape of the first letter of your future spouse’s name. If this isn’t your thing, unmarried women should sit in a darkened room and gaze in to the mirror on October 31st and their future husband’s face will appear in the mirror….

Halloween isn’t just for guising children.

We love to design and dress venues in cobwebbed chandeliers, spiders and carved neeps creating spooktacular nights to remember. If you are already agreed on ‘till death do us part’ consider black, orange and purple for your wedding theme for a bewitching finish!

In any event, we’re here for you.

Happy Halloween!
