Take a seat!

If you’re looking to revamp your home or garden this season, Cordiners is the place to go. The family owned business is one of the oldest in Scotland, dating back to 1870, when they started out as boat builders. These days, Cordiners not only supply timber and building materials, but they also offer a great range of fencing, decking, gates, sheds and log cabins in sizes and designs to suit every taste
and budget.

Since 2015, they’ve held a Royal Warrant for supplying timber to Her Majesty the Queen, so you can be sure of the best quality and customer service!

You’ll find everything you need for home and garden projects at their spacious showroom and yard just five minutes from Union Square in Torry.

Where Cordiners really shine is their experienced staff, who offer free, friendly, expert advice to help with home improvements and DIY projects. Whether you’re building a raised bed, need a shed to escape the family or want to upgrade your insulation, they are there to help. There’s a wide selection of bricks, blocks and slabs, sand, aggregates, cement and Postcrete to lay paths, erect fences or build walls and foundations. There are roofing supplies and every type of nail or screw you can imagine. You’ll find one of the most comprehensive selections of hardwood, softwood, panels, readymade doors, windows, wooden flooring and finishing touches like ironmongery all
held in stock.

If you’re looking for a log cabin or a shed, Cordiners will help you specify exactly what you want. There are lots of ideas for the garden on show this year, including some new wooden planters, raised beds and garden furniture. You can also see one of Cordiner’s superb log cabins on display at Inverurie garden centre. It’s just one of the many cabins and sheds the company offers in all shapes and sizes from small storage sheds to multi room luxury cabins.  These are delivered direct to the site and Cordiners can recommend a local reliable tradesman to carry out any preparatory ground work needed and to erect the cabin.

The Sinclair Road showroom is open from 7.30am to 5pm on Monday to Friday and also 8am to 12 noon on Saturdays.

Our winners will each win a Devon Round Picnic Bench, designed to seat up to eight people, for alfresco dining.
